After a good performance in the two days tests at the Austrian circuit, he is now ready to go back to competition behind the wheel of the Mygale to defend the colors of the JD Motorsport Team, building on the experience gained in these 4 months. The 17-year-old Italo-Canadian driver has familiarized himself with a difficult car such as a F3, showing progressions race by race.
Getting into the hot spot of the season, Nicholas is focused on making a change in his race season and standing, looking forward to set his sites on a top 3, just after being so close to it in the second race in Budapest.
The Red Bull Ring race will be also valid for the F3 Italian Championship, which has reached the halfway point with this third round. The last three races of the Italian Championship will take place at the circuits of Imola, Vallelunga and Monza.
NICHOLAS LATIFI: “ My target is to reach the Top 3 by the end of the season. The car is good and my feel of it has improved so much as I am much more experienced especially with the handling of the new tyre. So I am confident and hope to maximize my work. The track is one of the best , with elevation changes, slow-med and very fast corners. It has several stretches which are good for passing.”
The Austrian week-end will start on Friday at 8.30 am with the first session of free practices, which will be followed by the second one at 13.40 pm. The official practices to assign pole position in race-1 will start on Saturday morning at 9.25. Race-1 will be brought live on Rai Sport 2 channel starting from 14.40 pm. Sunday morning at 10.20 the 15 minutes and a lap sprint race will be brought live on Rai Sport 2, just like the last race of the week-end on Sunday afternoon at 16.35.
